1 John 5:4-5
For
everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome
the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only
he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Brothers, I, for my part, do not think of myself as having yet gotten hold of it; but one thing I do: forgetting what is behind me and straining forward toward what lies ahead, 14 I keep pursuing the goal in order to win the prize offered by God’s upward calling in Christ Jesus.
I’m not looking at my

He who dwells in the shelter of the
Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. His shadow is the shelter of His

secret place is not a physical place. Our secret place is in our own hearts. We
can go anywhere and still focus on Him in our spirit and be in the presence of

For
all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For
you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have
received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba!
Father!" 16 The
Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and
if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed
we suffer with Him so that we may
also be glorified with Him.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great
cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that
so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for

for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down
at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider Him who endured such
opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. NIV
